It's kind of silly how hard it is to sit down and just write something. Especially given that AI tooling makes things like scaffolding, scratch writing, and even editing at least somewhat easier. I used to write quite a bit for myself, and at that I also used to read a lot. Enough of both to be a bit of a problem in grade school for reading too much, too quickly, and too often.

I think at least one casualty of writing (and reading) professionally is I stopped doing it in my personal time. It felt like more work, which is both unfortunate and quite frankly a bit stupid. It's a different kind of writing, one that I still enjoy once I can get past a curmudgeonly attitude towards just doing the thing.

So that's what these pages are going to be - a "blog", the topic and theme of which I have not even begun to think about. But for now we'll settle on a stream-ish of consciousness-ish that will hopefully be of some utility to you, who must now suffer my thoughts.
